The Department of Food Systems, Nutrition, and Kinesiology offers Master of Science degrees in the following programs: Dietetics Systems Leadership (combined with the dietetic internship), Exercise and Nutrition Sciences (options in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition or Sport and Coaching Sciences), and Sustainable Food Systems. A minimum of 30 credits are required for the Master of Science degree in both the Exercise and Nutrition Sciences and Sustainable Food Systems programs. Both thesis and non-thesis options are available for these two programs. For the Master of Science professional degree program in Dietetics Systems Leadership, 36 credits of coursework are required. There is also an Accelerated 4+1 Program available to receive both a Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition as well as a Master of Science in Dietetic Systems Leadership. Transfer credits may not exceed the limit set by The Graduate School and must be assessed by the respective faculty advisor.
The Department of Food Systems, Nutrition and Kinesiology offers a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Exercise and Nutrition Sciences with options in Biomechanics and Motor Control or Exercise Nutrition, Metabolism, and Physiology. The PhD program requires a minimum of 60 credits.
