Early Childhood Education Concentration

All early childhood education option students must meet the requirements of the Elementary Education K-8 curriculum, with these additions:

EDEC 160	Early Childhood Development	3
EDEC 108	Introduction to Early Childhood Education	2
EDEC 350	Play and Learning in Early Childhood	3
EDEC 385	Integrated Curriculum Early Childhood Education	3
HDFS 263	Relationships and Fam Systems	3
Total Credits		14

All courses in this concentration must be completed with a grade of C or better and with a minimum option GPA of 3.0. Students choosing this concentration voluntarily select a program that requires additional coursework beyond the 120 credits required for a standard four-year degree. This concentration does not lead to additional licensure.
